I just wanted to make a quick post, that we have just received our last shipment of Crazy Critters Pocket Diapers in fun OOGA BOOGA print! There are sized and one-size diapers while supplies last!

Boomba Toomba is set to Close in OCT

Hello dear customers of Boomba Toomba,

I am writing you today to regretfully share that we are closing our doors for good, in mid-October.

I am sad to have to close, but we can no longer weather the storm.

We appreciate each and every customer we have had over the years. We could not have lasted this long without you!

Thank you so much for being a part of our little shop!

We will continue to be open and functioning til October, so please stop in and say goodbye to us if you have a chance.

It may be the last chance to buy some of the one of a kind items in our shop, so we hope to see you.

Again, thank you so much for all of your support and being such wonderful customers.

I want to take some time to feature a small business every so often. It's very important especially in these hard economic times to support local businesses that invest in our communities.

This week I would love to share my favorite little delicatessen in vancouver, La Bottega
I am so fortunate to have this fabulous cafe/deli/wine shop right in my neighborhood, but even if you dont live in Downtown Vancouver, you should still make it out here for Dinner.

There is nothing that La bottega doesnt do. They serve superb sandwiches for lunch, as well as soups. At dinner they have the most amazing Italian Eats you can find in this city. The wine list is truly extensive and the beer selection is pretty massive as well.

Check the deli case for yummy treats to take home for savoring at a later date.
Imported cheeses and many varieties of meats are just a small sampling of what the case can provide. They also have soups and pastas pre-made and ready to be heated up in the warmth of your own home.
On your way out don't forget to grab a bottle of wine!

If you have not made it to La Bottega yet, I strongly urge you to head that way soon.
Also, check for monthly wine tasting events.. what a lovely date night that would make.

Gently Used Diapers

I just wanted to drop a quick Public Service Announcement.
Even though we have made the decision to stop carrying USED kids clothing,
we still gladly accept USED Diapers. We are still buying used diapers outright, so if you were worried, don't be, and bring in your diapers to sell today!

Now that we no longer carry used KIDS clothes at Boomba Toomba, we thought we should share this lovely event with you, so that you can still make some cash for your gently loved goods.

KidKonsignNW is a children's consignment event in Vancouver, Washington. Two sales are held each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

I am so excited to share with you all the new things we have on the shelves!
We have fully expanded our store to also feature a LADIES section!!
That's right, you don't even have to have kids to shop at Boomba Toomba now!

We now offer many great things for women, all locally and handmade!

We are now expanding our maternity section in Boomba Toomba, to also include womens items!
We will offer handbags, clothing, jewelry, hair accessories, and more by late February.

This opens the floor to all you local crafters and artisans out there who do not make kids stuff, but indeed womens items!
We are now accepting artists who great lovely quality wares for all women.
